What a beautiful set of words.
Sticky toffee pudding is my favourite pudding over anything else, and I’ll always order it if I see it on a menu in a restaurant. I’ve even made sticky toffee brownies before. I love sticky toffee sauce. It’s just so great.

Great sushi in a city that is entirely landlocked? We’ve got it! Danish restaurant chain Sticks and Sushi recently opened here, bringing amazingly fresh sushi to us, and a host of delicious nibbles. (more…)
Jamie Oliver’s never been one to shy away from an announcement, yet the pizzeria arm of his massive Jamie’s Italian empire appears to have arrived fairly quietly. It opened around a year ago, I think, and the entrance is tucked away behind the huge Jamie’s Italian building in the centre of the city. Perched at the top of the building, the smoky smell of the pizza oven whets your appetite as you climb the stairs. (more…)
Above any restaurant I have always wanted to visit Le Manoir and experience their incredible seasonal food and wonderful hospitality. They have held two Michelin stars since the year I was born, whatever you think of the system, that is pretty impressive.
Chicken thigh curry
If I told you that one of the best places in Cambridge for a curry was a pub and restaurant centering around meat, bread and beer then you’d probably think I was mad. But let me tell you, the Pint Shop’s chicken curry is up there. I was delighted to make this discovery when trying out their Autumn menu, devised by their new development chef, Rosie Sykes. (more…)
