We’ve been fans of the Pint Shop in Cambridge since it opened a year ago, and have become well acquainted with their excellent drinks menu, their yummy scotch eggs and the hearty dinners. Their Sunday Lunch was something I’d not tried before so when they invited us along it seemed like the perfect time to try it out.

It’s about this time of year that I really start thinking about Yorkshire puddings quite often. When there is a cool breeze in the air my cravings for a roast dinner suddenly turn up a notch. Afternoon Tea at the Ritz is an experience that people often say you should try at least once in your life, and it’s certainly an experience. The Noodle! recipe book is one I have been eagerly awaiting, I ordered it months ago after MiMi announced it was on pre-order and I have been looking forward to seeing the work of one of my favourite bloggers in the flesh for ages. It’s so exciting to see bloggers who’ve written passionately on their blogs for years bringing out cookbooks.I was lucky enough to be invited to MiMi’s book launch at the Drapers Arms last week, where I got to meet the lady herself and sample some dishes from the book.
